  5. The Process effect lets you perform image processing effects based on Tint,
  6. Hue or Value. 
  7.  
  8. Processing is turned on or off by selecting the ON/OFF menu item or by
  9. using the Keyboard equivalent toggle, 
  10.

  13. One of the 3 processing methods currently selected will take affect during
  14. painting:

  16.      Tint
  17.  
  18.           The screen colors are tinted with the brush color. This is useful
  19.           for colorizing black and white images. Additionally, tinting
  20.           colors using a gray shaded brush will convert the colors into
  21.           shades of gray.

  23.      Hue
  24.           Like Tint, screen colors are tinted towards the brush color.
  25.           However.  Only colors are affected -- adjusting Hue on gray
  26.           shades has no effect.

  29.      Value
  30.           Processes the screen colors' value towards the brush color to
  31.           create shading effects. Painting with a light color will
  32.           lighted screen colors whose value settings are lower than the
  33.           brush's value setting. Conversely, painting with a dark color
  34.           will darken screen colors whose value settings are higher than
  35.           the brush's value setting.
